Born Dynamic

Hudson Valley Wine Fest’s featured chef, Ric Orlando, keeps multiple irons in the fire

As we suspected, Ric Orlando has been nowhere near sitting on his laurels during the long Covid-19-induced reset of New York’s beleaguered restaurant industry. He’s been making and marketing delicious spices and BBQ sauces, cooking for special events and pop-ups, plotting culinary travel excursions to Europe, and making plenty of great, rocking music, as evidenced by this VIDEO he starred in with his good friend Andy Shernoff, a founding member of The Dictators. And in a few short days from now, Ric will be front and center doing one of his legendary appearances at the 20th Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival. We’re reasonably sure he’ll be finding ways to highlight his new collaboration, Ric Orlando Nine Pin BBQ Sauce, developed with Albany’s famed Nine Pin Cider Works.

If you’re interested in learning all about the deep, rich story of Ric Orlando and his fabulous life and career, feel free to go HERE and dive in. Then get ready to meet and be schooled by the real thing at the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest, taking place at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, September 11 and 12, 2021.
