Pail Shop Vineyards

Celebrating the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest 2023 participating wineries

Pail Shop Vineyards, Winery and Tasting Room makes small production wines in a converted barn looking out over the hills of beautiful Fly Creek Valley. They crush, press, ferment and age their wines on-site, sourcing grapes from the best growing regions throughout New York State.

Pail Shop creates a variety of wines: white, red and rosé, ranging from dry to sweet. They also make their Painted Pail Red sangria by the bucketful. Painted Pail Sangria is an easy-drinking, fruity, fun idea that was developed at the winery. The creators spent a summer mixing and tasting until they had something special. They started selling it in the tasting room and it quickly became their most popular request. Soon they added their Painted Pail White Sangria, a lemony bright, tangy and refreshing version of the original red. Their most recent addition is Painted Pail Rosé Sangria light, not too sweet, fruity and refreshingly good!

The winery consists of 40 acres of grounds and a hillside vineyard. There are Adirondack chairs around the pond, which is a perfect location for a picnic and a glass of wine.

Presented by WineRacks.com, The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival will take place on September 9th and September 10th at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, N.Y., which will be transformed into a foodie paradise featuring some of the best wines and culinary treats that the Hudson Valley and beyond have to offer.
