Ashley Lynn/Waterloo Winery

Celebrating the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest 2023 participating wineries

Established in 1929 on 130 acres of rolling farmland in the State of New York, Hurlbut Orchards has been a top producer of Macintosh and Cortland apples for nearly a century. With a history of making apple wine for family and friends dating back more than 40 years, the Hurlbut family has shifted gears and is now putting all of its efforts into the retail wine business. Concentrating on blended varieties of apple wines, they have developed a product that is reasonably priced, with outstanding taste.

The home site of the Ashley Lynn Winery is at the original Hurlbut Orchards Family Farm Stand, located on State Route 104 in Mexico, NY, a half-hour from Syracuse. The wine is pressed, aged, blended, and bottled at this location, and wine tasting is conducted daily. The farm market also sells flowers along with home and garden products.

In 2013 the Waterloo Winery was built at 827 Route 318 in Waterloo, NY. This location is operated by Pattie and Leroy Hurlbut, and has a fine selection of both apple and grape wines, as well as a large selection of wine-related merchandise. Wine tasting is conducted daily here as well. The company also operates a store in the Destiny USA Mall, on the first floor in the hallway near the Disney Store. The store sells all of Ashley Lynn’s wines, wine slushy bottles, gift baskets, and variety of wine merchandise. For more information, visit https://ashleylynnwinery.com
