Lakeland Winery

Celebrating the Hudson Valley Wine & Food Fest 2023 participating wineries

Lakeland Winery is an urban winery located in Syracuse, NY. The company sources its grapes, fruits and berries from multiple vineyards, and then ferments, bottles and sells the wine in the Syracuse facility. Andrew Watkins, the company founder, built a place specially curated to create a homey feeling, in which one can sit back, relax, and sip wine with friends and family.

The main focus of its wines is, through quality and variety of flavor, to avoid the pompous, overwhelming nature the modern wine industry can exhibit when proffering choices to its customers. Lakeland wants the customer to be the one who decides if a wine is good or not, simply by tasting it and enjoying its flavor and effects.

Formerly known as Vine 2 Wine, Lakeland Winery was founded in 2005, starting out as a wine-making shop where one could source all elements to produce one’s own wine. The shop quickly grew and developed into a beautiful urban winery that offers superior wines and curates a variety of wine-making services.

Lakeland Winery is located at 877 State Fair Blvd, Syracuse, NY. Call (315) 487-2884 for more information.

Presented by WineRacks.com, The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival will take place on September 9th and September 10th at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, N.Y., which will be transformed into a foodie paradise featuring some of the best wines and culinary treats that the Hudson Valley and beyond have to offer.
